Some of these are nice to have on hand when the symptoms come on. Most hotels carry them but they can cost twice as much, which may only make you feel worse! Depending on your destination, your choices may be limited so use your best judgement. Better to be prepared than in pain. Sooner or later you'll need this stuff anyway.

Allergy pills / Decongestant
Eye drops
Antacid tablets
Cough drops
Antibiotic ointment
Tissue packets
Aspirin/pain reliever
Motion sickness medicine
Band aids
Laxative
Chapstick
Sunscreen
Cold pills
Sunburn relief
Adhesive tape and gauze pads - for slightly larger mishaps
Diarrhea medication - nice to have on hand when you really need it!
Anti-itch cream - for pesky bug bites and rashes
Antiseptic towelettes - have you seen what's out there?!?!
Blister medication - you don't want to walk out for this stuff when you really need it.
Swiss army knife - a great multi-purpose tool for all occasions.
Foot powder - necessary for sweaty/wet areas (i.e. your shoes)...avoid the blisters in the first place.
