For international flights, passengers should arrive three hours before departure time. Passports, tickets and authorizations (in the case of minors) must be presented, immigration cards must be filled, and luggage checked. Make sure all tickets contain correct information to avoid problems when you arrive to your destination. One of the principal documents you will need when leaving your country is your passport. Make sure that its expiry date has not passed, and keep in mind that several countries require that the expiry date be no less than six months after arrival. As soon as possible before travelling, check the visa requirements of the country to be visited. It is also suggested that photocopies of all documents be made to facilitate their replacement in the event of robbery or loss. On national flights, travelers should be at the airport one hour before departure time. All documents of identification and tickets must be presented at this time, and baggage must be checked. As with international flights, tickets should be scrutinized for any possible errors. Don't forget to confirm your flight 24 hours in advance by calling the airlines reservation center.
